Karen Bolda of Ashland shares a story about the inspiration she receives from her 5-year-old daughter.

"Thea bursts out of her room every morning," Karen says, "thrilled to experience yet another day of life.

"A foggy day means pretending you are a ghost. Rain just creates more worm pets to gather. And people are there to make friends with, no matter where you happen to be.

"Although I need plenty of caffeine to keep up with her, she always reminds me that life is indeed an amazing experience."

It's not too late to capture fall photos but you'll have to hurry. Here's a couple of tips to keep in mind when taking pictures of children.

— Make sure your child has a full tummy and has rested.

— Keep clothing simple (no logos or plaid and stripes).
