Ashland Police reports, Jan. 2

Wednesday, 2:36 a.m. – Ashland police arrested a man for allegedly driving under the influence at the corner of Oakway Circle and Harmony Lane. He was cited and released. His blood alcohol level was between .15 and .19.

Wednesday, 8:26 a.m. – Ashland police reported an investigation of alleged check fraud in the 1300 block of Iowa Street.

Wednesday, 10:43 a.m. – Ashland police cited and released a man for theft III and criminal trespass II in the 2300 block of Ashland Street.

Wednesday, 11:35 a.m. – Ashland police took a report of vandalism in the first block of North Main Street.

Wednesday, 1:13 p.m. – Ashland police cited a man for allegedly scattering rubbish in the first block of Water Street.

Wednesday, 3:10 p.m. – Ashland police arrested a man on the strength of an outstanding warrant and was additionally cited for an open container in public at the corner of North Pioneer Street and Will Dodge Way.

Wednesday, 3:28 p.m. – Ashland police cited a man for an alleged open container in public and drinking in public in the first block of Water Street.

Wednesday, 4:28 p.m. – Ashland police transported a person to Rogue Regional Medical Center from the 100 block of Maple Street on a mental health directors hold.

Wednesday, 11:23 p.m. – Ashland police arrested a man for a failure to appear warrant on the charge of driving under the influence and a driving while suspended misdemeanor in the 400 block of East Main Street.
