Ashland police reports, July26-27

Thursday, 11:30 a.m. – Ashland police cited a man for unpermitted commercial activity in the first block of Ashland Street.

Thursday, 11:32 p.m. – Ashland police arrested and lodged a woman in the Jackson County Jail on a misdemeanor arrest warrant. She was subsequently charged with resisting arrest and interfering with a police officer in the first block of Fourth Street.

Thursday, 1:05 p.m. – Ashland police cited a man for failing to have a business license and unpermitted commercial activity in the first block of Winburn Way. He was additionally arrested for second-degree criminal trespass.

Thursday, 1:21 p.m. – Ashland police took a report of abuse investigation in the 100 block of Ashland Area.

Thursday, 6:30 p.m. – Ashland police arrested a man for driving under the influence of alcohol in the first block of North Main Street.

Thursday, 7:59 p.m. – Ashland police arrested a man for shoplifting in the 2300 block of Ashland Street.

Thursday, 8:35 p.m. – Ashland police arrested a man on a warrant and for giving false information to a police officer at the corner of Lithia Way and Oak Street.

Thursday, 9:10 p.m. – Ashland police transported a female to Rogue Regional Medical Center for a mental health evaluation in the 100 block of Ashland Area.

Thursday, 9:32 p.m. – Ashland police took a report of stolen mail in the 2900 block of Barbara Street.

Friday, 4:46 a.m. – Ashland police placed an adult male into protective custody in the 1200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard.
