Controlled burns to continue outside Ashland today

A controlled burn will be conducted south of Four Corners on the main U.S. Forest Service 2060 road today, according to a news release.
No trails will be directly impacted, but smoke may be visible from several parts of Ashland, including Interstate 5.
The multiple controlled burns held in and around the Ashland Watershed this week are intended to reduce the risk of summer wildfires in the area.
