Police reports, March 6 - 8

Tuesday, 1:22 a.m. — Police arrested and lodged a man on an outstanding warrant on Clay Street near Siskiyou Boulevard.

Tuesday, 8:40 a.m. — Police arrested a woman for second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree disorderly conduct, interfering with a peace officer, resisting arrest, two charges of assaulting a peach officer, and two charges of attempted assault on a peace officer. She was lodged in Jackson County Jail.

Tuesday, 10:14 a.m. — Police conducted a confidential report of child abuse in the Ashland area.

Tuesday, 10:41 a.m. — Police took a report of a perpetrator posing as a Jackson County Deputy Sheriff who told the victim in the 1600 block of Ashland Street to pay $3,000 to avoid execution of a warrant for failing to appear for jury duty. The victim did as instructed.

Tuesday, 11:29 a.m. — Police took a report of suspicious circumstances at Southern Oregon University.

Tuesday, 12:00 p.m. — Police responded to a fraud report in the 200 block of Orange Avenue.

Tuesday, 10:07 p.m. — Police arrested and lodged a man on two outstanding warrants in the 1400 block of Ashland Street.

Wednesday, 8:40 a.m. — Police responded to a report of theft of tools from Ace Hardware.

Wednesday, 1:39 p.m. — Police responded to a report of theft of artwork by a former renter in the 500 block of Liberty Street.

Wednesday, 1:56 p.m. — Police cited a woman for shoplifting from the Ashland Food Co-op.

Wednesday, 7:10 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a Trek Farley black and orange mountain bike was taken from the porch of 185 N. Pioneer St.

Wednesday, 7:39 p.m. — Police took a vandalism report on Will Dodge Way near North First Street.

Wednesday, 8:15 p.m. — Police arrested a man for failing to appear in the 0 block of Winburn Way.

Wednesday, 8:23 p.m. — Police investigated a suicide in the Ashland area.

Wednesday, 10:15 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a cello being stolen from 59 Winburn Way.
