Transportation Commission invites public input

Residents are invited to a community meeting with the Ashland Transportation Commission at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at the Ashland Community Center, 59 Winburn Way.

The meeting is an outlet for commissioners to listen to suggestions and concerns regarding transportation within the city.  Residents will discuss in small groups facilitated by commissioners, and each group will have an opportunity to present their concerns and ideas at the end of the meeting.

The commissioners will record the feedback so it can address it in the commission's priorities and future projects, Commissioner Chair Joe Graf said at the regular meeting on Jan. 25.

The commission asks those who are interested to RSVP to taina.glick@ashland.or.us.

(Jan. 29: Story updated to remove statement that pizza will be served. It will not be.)
