Edwina L. Lawson, 65, passed away with grace and dignity, on the evening of April 4, 2011, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 19, 1945, in North Little Rock, Ark., but soon moved to Medford, Ore., where she was raised on a little plot of land by the airport.
Eddie was a good friend of Bill W., and lived 25 years of committed service to the program, One Day at a Time. She touched many lives, and will be in our hearts forever.
She is survived by one brother; four children; and numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Her parents, Helen L. Lawson and Nolan James, both preceded her in death, as well as her adopted father, Raymond Dey.
There will be a celebration of life gathering in her honor at The Alano Club, on Elm St. in Medford, Ore., on Sunday, May 15, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please come laugh, share, and remember the wonderful woman we will never forget.
In lieu of flowers, she asked that contributions be made to the Eryn Smith Educational Fund at any branch of Rogue Federal Credit Union.
