Congressional candidate forum Thursday

Seven Democratic candidates for Oregon Congressional District No. 2, currently held by Greg Walden, have said they’ll attend a forum on Thursday in Ashland. None of the Republican candidates can make it, according to forum organizer David Lane.
The Democratic candidates are expected to address a range of issues pertinent to Oregonians, including questions from the audience.
The candidates are: Eric Burnette (Hood River), Michael Byrne (Parkdale), Jim Crary (Ashland), Raz Mason (The Dalles), Jamie McLeod-Skinner (Redmond), Jenni Neahring (Bend) and Tim White (Bend).
Peter Buckley will moderate.
The forum starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall at 87 Fourth St., Ashland.
It is jointly sponsored by the Mountain Meadows Democrats Plus and the Social Justice and Action Committee of the UUF. This event will include two sign language interpreters.
If possible, car pool and arrive early because there is limited parking.
