Ashland plans pot information class

The city of Ashland plans a class on growing marijuana safely and responsibly and on the dangers of producing hash oil at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the City Council Chambers, 1175 E. Main St., Ashland.

The free, 90-minute class will cover safe and responsible use of electricity, responsible use of water, staying compliant with new state laws and new city ordinances and why hash oil production at home is dangerous.

Presenters will be members of the city of Ashland staff, including representatives from Ashland Fire & Rescue, Ashland Police Department, Community Development, Conservation and other departments.
