The Ashland Chamber of Commerce and city of Ashland will review key findings of the 2015-16 Business Retention and Expansion (BR&E) Study from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, in the Siskiyou Room in the Community Development Building, 51 Winburn Way.
The study was created in partnership with the city of Ashland and the Ashland Chamber of Commerce. Chamber board members and volunteers surveyed more than 50 traded-sector businesses and reported survey results to an economic analysis firm to maintain confidentiality for the Ashland businesses.
The report will be used by both the Chamber and the city for business and economic development. This is the third BR&E study produced by the chamber and city and results of these surveys have produced the Ashland Chamber’s Global Conferences on Business & Culture, Ashland Innovators Conference as well as the Ashland Chamber’s companion website, the Ashland Business Resource Portal, ashlandbusinessresource.com.
