Entrepreneurial growth, tech startups, advanced manufacturing and the academic programs that support them will be covered in an April 19 symposium in Ashland.
Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development Inc. will host a trio of experts who will speak at the Launch and Tech event.
Mary Hebert, senior vice president for North America at software development and consulting firm WAVTEQ, will discuss the criteria desired by technology companies considering a relocation. Dara Macan, global director of business development for SourceLink, will delve into infrastructure necessary for a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. Engineer Vince Anteweter will explain the role a rapid prototyping hub plays for startups and manufacturers in testing and developing new products.
A round-table discussion will allow attendees to offer their own experiences and ask questions of leaders and decision-makers in this region.
