UPDATE, 9:23 a.m. Crews have reopened one lane of I-5, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.
A truck spilled 125 gallons of diesel at about 8:45 this morning on Interstate 5 when it crashed in the northbound lanes near milepost 5 south of Ashland.
Oregon Department of Transportation says the truck, which is empty, is blocking both northbound lanes. The diesel spilled from its saddle tanks. Oregon State Police and ODOT crews are working to get a lane open, and a tow truck is on the way. ODOT says to expect congesting coming down the Siskiyou Summit.
