We need Jensen
Why I’ll vote for Steve Jensen to be on Ashland’s City Council:
He’s smart, engaging, active in community affairs and dependable.
When I joined the Ashland Food Project’s Steering Committee, my task was to head up canvassing. Steve was my first volunteer but more than that, he was quick to help me design a plan to make canvassing more effective here in Ashland. Steve is also a long-standing district coordinator for the Ashland Food Project.
Steve taught earth sciences and American history at South Medford High School; he’s experienced in construction and building supply management; serves on the Ashland Forest Lands Commission; is currently a primary editor of the developing 2018 Ashland Trails Master Plan.
As an occasional TV viewer of council sessions, I’ve watched Steve in his council role and found his comments and suggestions “right on.” I believe we need him there.
