The choir, conducted by Mark Reppert, will perform Antonin Dvorák’s Mass in D major, along with other holiday favorites, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8-9, in the Music Recital Hall, 450 S. Mountain Ave., at Southern Oregon University, Ashland. The singers will be joined by an orchestra and soloists Michelle Cipollone, Shelly Cox-Thornill, Christopher Bingham and Daniel Gibbs. Tommy Emmanuel with Jerry Douglas
Guitarists Tommy Emmanuel and Jerry Douglas will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Rogue Theatre, 143 S.E. H St., Grants Pass. Emmanuel’s newest, “Accomplice One,” was released early this year and features duets with Jason Isbell, Mark Knopfler, Rodney Crowell, Amanda Shires and Douglas. The local camera club will host landscape and travel photographer Sean Bagshaw, who will discuss and present a slide show of his trip to the Faroe Islands and Iceland at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Town Hall at Twin Creeks Retirement Community, 888 Twin Creeks Crossing, Central Point. Bagshaw’s expeditions take him to all corners of the globe. He is a founding member of Photo Cascadia, a Pacific Northwest-based photography team, and a digital image enthusiast and photography educator. Admission is free.
