‘Virgins to Villains: My Journey with Shakespeare’s Women’
Actor Robin Goodrin Nordli’s witty show explores her personal life through the lives of William Shakespeare’s female characters. Rogue Valley poet Steve Dieffenbacher and Corvallis poet Chris Anderson will read from Dieffenbacher’s new chapbook, “Intimations,” and Anderson’s book, “You Never Know,” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at Bloomsbury Books, 290 E. Main St., Ashland. Dieffenbacher’s new poems focus on finding hope in the face of what’s going on in the world today. Anderson’s have a similar theme, but with a spiritual bent. Admission is free.
