Molly Best Tinsley, author of "Satan's Chamber," "Broken Angels" and "Entering the Blue Stone," has written a fantasy thriller for ages 9 to 12.
She will give the story-behind-the-story of writing "Behind the Waterfall" and discuss three tips for crafting plot-based stories at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, in the Gresham Room of the Ashland library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland.
"Behind the Waterfall" follows the adventures of identical twins Chet and Nash Eagleman and their younger sister, Shyla, as they discover an astonishing family secret that comes with special powers and a dangerous mission. They must take down the ruthless criminal who controls the town and aims to control the world.
All ages are welcome to the reading, and refreshments will be served. Tinsley is co-founder of Fuze Publishing, based partly in Ashland.
