cris williamson: St. Clair Productions will pay tribute to Women's History Month with songwriter Cris Williamson in concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at the Unitarian Center, 87 Fourth St., Ashland. Williamson has toured the world with artists such as Holly Near, Meg Christian, Margie Adams and Tret Fure. Williamson helped found Olivia Records, a women's record company, in 1973 and released "The Changer and the Changed" in 1975. Later, she recorded three other CDs with Fure. Williamson's lyrics explore lesbian and gay issues, and her work has been included in curriculum for women's studies courses.
