Local plein-air artists mount display of their work

En Plein air is the term artists use for standing in the great outdoors, in view of beautiful scenery, and painting what the artists see.

The Plein Air Society of Southern Oregon and Paschal Winery have joined to mount an exhibition of original art painted in the vibrant open air of Southern Oregon.

The exhibition begins with an Artists' Reception on Saturday, July 14, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Paschal Winery, 1122 Suncrest Road, in Talent.

Media include watercolor, oil, pastel, and acrylic. Collectors of original art, as well as the general public are cordially welcomed to meet the artists, and enjoy the art in the charming setting of Paschal Winery.

Paintings will be on view at the winery until Sept. 22.

The PASSO artists in this show are: Norm Rossignal, Kandee McClain, Steve Bennett, Kay Driver, Peter Coons, Elaine Frenett, Olin Jones, Mary Jo Heath, and Bruce Barnes.
