Mystic Garden Party

The Mystic Garden Party is a four-day Musical Healing Arts Festival from July 24th through July 27th at the Jackson Wellsprings, 2253 Highway 99, Ashland, featuring music performances until 4 a.m. on three separate stages; workshops, an eco village, organic food, mineral waters, sauna and camping.

Promoters of the event, Mystic Garden Productions, advocate a healthy culture and community through music, arts, and education. The second annual party in Ashland takes place all week-end long.

Hours are: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, July 24; — to 11 p.m. and midnight to 4 a.m. Friday, July 25; 8 to 11 a.m. and midnight to 4 a.m. Saturday, July 26; and 8 to 10 a.m. Sunday, July 27.

Music begins at noon each afternoon. The world-music lineup includes Medicine Drum, Chris Berry and Michael Kang of Panjea and String Cheese Incident, Jamie Janover of Zilla, Cheb I Sabbah, Tina Malia, Shimshai, Alice DiMicele, Scott Huckabay, DJ Dragonfly, Freedom, Sasha Butterfly Rose, Blane Lyon, Human, Fanna-Fi-Allah, Prema Mayi, Organic Time Machine, Windsong, State of Jefferson and many others. The Mystic Midnight Show remains a draw for many.

Pacific Domes of Ashland will set up two of their geodesic domes. There also will be a 40-foot "Medicine Sky Lodge" that allows for night-time music and workshops around the Sky Lodge fire.

Workshops will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. This year's workshop presenters include: Chris Berry of Panjea: Healing with African Dance; Happy Oasis, Founder of Raw Spirit Fest: Let's Get Wild! Jamie Janover of Zilla: Unified Field Theory; Tevya Jones, Wisdom: Guided Meditation; Samantha Sweetwater: Soul Shine! Len Watson: Healing with Raw Foods; Kris Freewoman: Tribal Dance Workout; John Dumas and Tiffany Tatum: Sound Healing; Jeanine Maria-Porcean: Flower Essence; and Heather Salmon: Sound Healing.

The Visionary Arts Village will include a large dome that will serve as a Transformation Arts Temple and meditative space. On display will be a variety of transformational art pieces both in the dome as well as an outdoor artisans market.

Confirmed artists include: Roman from Tribe 13, Amoraea Dreamseed, and Victoria Christian.

The Healing Arts Village will include healers, massage therapists, and energy workers.

There will be approximately 75 booths featuring arts, crafts, sustainable solutions/products, healthy food, and natural clothing.

This year organizers have added an Eco Village and are looking to showcase sustainable solutions especially in alternative energy, transportation, building, etc.

"I envision a culture filled with inspiration from healthy community education and conscious music and arts," said Mystic Garden Party founder, Phil Lindsey in a press release.

There are various a-la-cart and package tickets ranging from day passes, Mystic Midnight passes, camping, spa, meal, and/or full weekend passes ranging from $15 to $185. Day passes are $15. Tickets are available at or at the gate.
