EXHIBIT: Abstract landscapes in oil and "Fabric Fusions" (fabric folded into Plexiglas boxes) by Ashland artist Marilyn Briggs will be displayed through July 13 at Paschal Winery, 1122 Suncrest Road, Talent. Briggs' themes stem from her affiliation with the earth and the seasons, and her landscapes are composites of natural and aerial views and cross sections of the earth's strata. These images also are the basis for her "Fabric Fusions." Briggs holds a master's in art from the California College of Arts and Crafts in San Francisco. asian art collection: Sacred Heart School will offer tours through a collection of 15th century stoneware from Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam and 20th century embroidered suzanis from Uzbekistan at the school, 431 S.
