$10,000 Reward Offered for Information About the Killing of a Gray Wolf near Sisters in Oregon
A $10,000 reward is offered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services for information about the illegal killing of a federally listed endangered gray wolf that results in an arrest, criminal conviction, or civil penalty assessment.
The breeding male of the Metolius pack was found dead near Sisters, in Oregon. Gray wolves are a listed endangered species under the Endangered Species Act in two-thirds of western Oregon.
The reward relates to the death of an adult male gray wolf reported to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife Division, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
