Ashland emerged as the favorite cozy fall retreat in Oregon, offering a broad range of experiences to couples seeking a romantic weekend away.
Whether it’s the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Mount Ashland Ski Area Hood, or any one of the many local attractions, Ashland appeals to many of the survey participants nearly half (46%) of whom consider beautiful fall scenery the most important aspect of a romantic getaway.
Activities like hiking and wine tasting were also priorities that featured alongside cozy accommodations.
The Willamette Valley and Joseph were also noted as good romantic destinations in Oregon. The Willamette Valley’s scenic vineyards and beautiful fall colors are appealing, as are the local wineries and quaint bed-and-breakfasts that overlook the picturesque countryside.
Located near the Wallowa Mountains, Joseph’s cozy cabins and small inns offer a peaceful escape with the opportunity to visit art galleries, go on scenic drives, or just soak up the tranquil mountain scenery.
