GRANTS PASS, Ore. — A convicted felon, 30-year-old  Killian Mavity,  on supervised release from custody, was arrested by Grants Pass Police on Thursday for possession of guns and drugs, including 3D-printed gun parts.

Josephine County Community Corrections called for police help after firearms parts were found during Mavity’s home visit at a residence on NW D Street.

The Rogue Area Drug Enforcement Team (RADE), consisting of investigators from the Grants Pass Police Department, Oregon State Police, and Josephine County Community Corrections, also responded to the scene to help with a search warrant.

After the warrant had been executed, investigators recovered two loaded firearms, two 3D-printed “Ghost Gun” lower receivers, two lower receivers with obliterated serial numbers, and numerous firearm components and manufacturing apparatuses. Cocaine, methamphetamine, three scales with drug residue, and drug packaging materials were also recovered.

Mavity was arrested and lodged at the Josephine County Jail on a Parole Violation. The Josephine County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case to establish whether to charge Mavity with additional felony crimes.
