Dallas Mavericks Move Ahead Of Portland Trail Blazers In Nailbiting Final 2 Minutes
Heading into the last quarter, the Portland Trail Blazers were tied with the Dallas Mavericks at Reser Stadium on Sunday.
The Mavericks scored 12 of the first 16 points in the last quarter, opening a 112-101 lead before Toumani Camara scored a three-pointer and Dalano Banton dunked the ball.
With 1:54 left, the teams tied again at 127 on a three-point play by Deni Avdija. PJ Washington took the Mavericks ahead with a three-pointer, and Daniel Gafford slammed home with a dunk to give Dallas a five-point lead with 29.2 seconds still to go. Quentin Grimes added two free throws to seal a Dallas victory at 131-137.
