Eagle Point Cocaine Dealers Busted with Drugs, Ghost Guns, and Cash in Multi-Agency Sting

MEDFORD, Ore. — Following a two-month investigation, two Eagle Point cocaine dealers, 55-year-old Ulysses Timothy Chappel III and 52-year-old Stacy Lyn Cramer, were arrested on April 3 by Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement team (MADGE) detectives who also seized drugs, guns, cash, vehicles, and ghost guns.

The MADGE investigation, supported by the Oregon-Idaho High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) composed of members from the Medford and Eagle Pont Police Departments, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon State Police, the District Attorney’s Office, Parole and Probation, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the FBI, was initiated after multiple community complaints were received about cocaine distribution at Chappel and Cramer’s Ponderosa Way home.

During the execution of the search warrant, investigators over 100 grams of cocaine, eight firearms (including “ghost guns”), approximately $48,000 in cash, four vehicles, and one motorcycle.

The narcotics task force MADGE  identifies disrupts and dismantles drug trafficking organizations using an intelligence-driven, multi-agency prosecutor-support approach.

The pair were arrested and will have to answer to the following charges:

  • Chappel: Unlawful Possession, Delivery, Manufacture of Cocaine, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
  • Cramer: Unlawful Possession, Delivery, and Manufacture of Cocaine.

 

They were lodged at the Jackson County jail under case reference # 25-5445
