Eugene’s Wesley Methodist Church Vandalized with Thousands in Damage as Police Hunt Suspect

EUGENE, Ore. — Thousands of dollars of music equipment and religious artifacts were severely damaged, and excrement was left in the worship area in an act of vandalism at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Eugene early yesterday morning.

After the incident, police recovered church belongings on Oakway Road, near St Andrews Drive.

 

Suspect Photographed on Church Camera System

Eugene Police are searching for a man photographed by a security camera who is suspected of vandalizing the church on Oakway Road. The photographs appear on the UPD Facebook platform and show a man leaving the church at 5.30 a.m.
