Ex-Employee Turned Robber: Oregon Man Jailed for 25 Years After Crime Spree
EUGENE, Ore. — A Eugene man, Lonnie Huddleston, 37, a former employee of the Everyone’s Market convenience store on Barger Drive, was sentenced on Friday to 25 years in prison for armed robberies at several convenience stores committed between 2021 and the spring of 2024.

According to court records, Huddleston robbed the Everyone’s Market convenience store on Echo Hollow Road five times since 2021 and the River Road store on March 3, 2024. During the robberies,
Huddleston allegedly pointed a handgun at an employee and instructed them to retrieve a box on a top shelf that contained cash. This led police to believe he was familiar with the stores’ operations.
Police said that Huddleston told employees at gunpoint to stand away from where the silent alarm button was located before stealing cash and cigarettes in each of the robberies. He took around $400 on average in each robbery.
In 2024, Eugene SWAT members arrested Huddleston outside a Fred Meyer store on West 11th Avenue.
The court records indicate that Huddleston’s wife had asked the family for help on Facebook in September and October 2023.
She asked for help paying their electrical bills and rent after Huddleston was required to take unpaid time off of work to help after an unexpected medical. This may suggest a motive.
Huddleston pleaded guilty to six counts of first-degree robbery on January 17, 2025, and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. He will be on post-prison supervision for three years after his release.
