Grants Pass Police Hunt for Shooter After Man Wounded in Early Morning Attack
GRANTS PASS, Ore. — The Grants Pass Police Department responded to multiple calls of a man shot near SW 6th Street and SW M Street in the early hours of Monday morning.
The victim, who was found with a gunshot wound to an extremity, was hospitalized, but police are looking for the shooter- who fled the scene.
At about 02:00 on March 3, a 32-year-old Grants Pass-based male victim was found a short distance from where shots were reported to have been fired.
Medical care was immediately provided, as he had a gunshot wound to an extremity and was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooter(s) responsible for the assault was not found at the scene, but police have indicated that, while this is an active investigation, there is no known threat to the public. Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Grants Pass Police detectives at 541-450-6260.
