Halloween Events In Ashland: Have Fun At 16th Annual Monster Dash
ASHLAND, Ore. — Supporting schools across Ashland, the annual Monster Dash- now in its 16th year, promises spooky fun for the whole family and offers several ways to make it worth you while leaving your haunted house come Halloween. Hocus, Pocus, focus on this fun:
Date: Saturday, October 26
Beneficiaries: Ashland public schools.
Main Events: One mile, 5k and 10k walk or dash
2024 Monster Dash Details
- Presented by: Ashland Schools Foundation, Lithia4Kids, Ashland Kiwanis Club,
- Packet pick-up: Be sure to register before picking up your packet. It’s strongly recommended that you pick up your packet in advance at Ashland Middle School. Main Pick-up is on Friday, October 25th when you can get your packets and purchase current or past year’s Monster Dash t-shirts and hoodies. Race Day Pick-up is on October 26th from 8:00 am to 10:15 am at the race start line in Lithia Park.
- Racer packets: Include an Ashland Monster Dash runner’s bib. Virtual runners get a crepe paper finish line and a finisher’s medal. Sponsor flyers and coupons are included in the packets too.
- Kid Fun Packets for all youth registrants: Includes Halloween activities and mini-toys, treats, and a special giveaway science kit generously donated by a local toy company- Blue Marble Toys.
- Extra race t-shirts may be available at pick-up but will cost more. Pre-order for the best price or get past Monster Dash t-shirts at bargain prices.
Pick-up giveaways are available on a first come first serve basis and include:
- Authentic Gemstone & Crystal Kit: For ages 6+.
- Gold Dig Brick: For ages 5 and under.
The Monster Dash Online Auction will open soon. There are monstrous deals on gifts, baskets, staycations, toys, gift cards, and more. Bidding is open until October 27, 2024, at 12 pm- register to bid if an item interests you. Keep checking back at your item, and see new items as they are added.
The Monster Dash Costume Contest is dishing out prizes in several age groups and for the best group and best couple. There’s also a costume parade for kids 5 and under and those who prefer not to participate in the contest.
