Klamath Falls Man Dies After Highway 66 Single Vehicle Crash

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — The Oregon State Police (OSP) confirmed yesterday that the driver of a Mini Cooper, William Matthew McFall (45) of Klamath Falls, died in hospital after an accident in which his vehicle crashed into a tree on Monday, January 27, affecting the highway for about 30 minutes as police investigated the scene.
After responding to a single-vehicle accident in Klamath County on Highway 66, near milepost 53, at 7.46 pm on Monday, an OSP preliminary investigation, with assistance from ODOT, concluded that McFall’s westbound MiniCooper struck a tree after crossing over the center line and exiting the roadway. At the time, McFall was transported to an area hospital but was declared deceased.
