Oregon Business Owner’s Murder Leads to Dramatic Car Chase and Arrest

The murder of a Depoe Bay business owner ended with the arrest of a suspect after a car chase on Highway 20 in Lincoln County yesterday (Thursday).

Brennon Michael Neal (29) was arrested for the murder by multiple gunshot wounds of Sarabjit Singh (44), the owner of the Four Winds Inn on Highway 101 in Depoe Bay.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) responded to a call at 10.17 a.m. of gunshots at the Four Winds Inn. On arrival, they found the owner of the business dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

LCSO alerted surrounding law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for a dark grey sedan driven by Neal.

At 11.16 a.m., a sergeant from the Toledo Police Department spotted the vehicle traveling eastbound on Highway 20. The driver refused to stop for authorities, and a chase continued for 35 miles until Neal’s car stopped after driving over spike strips.

The LCSO was assisted by the Oregon State Police, Benton County Sheriff’s Office, and the police departments of Corvallis, Lincoln City, Newport, and Toledo.
