Oregon dominated the Top 10 Hotels in the Pacific Northwest category of the Condé Nast Traveler 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards with a staggering 575,048 votes in the 37th annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

Eight Oregon Getaways Listed

No less than eight Oregon getaways are on the list of top hotels in regions outside Seattle and represent coastal and wine areas, as well as Portland and Central Oregon.

In Number One position is Stephanie Inn, Cannon Beach, an elegant hotel that has also achieved Travel+Leisure’s list of the 15 Best Resorts in the U.S.

The other resorts listed are Allison Inn & Spa, Newberg; Lakedale, Friday Harbor, Washington; Black Walnut Inn & Vineyard, Dundee; Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa; Heathman Hotel, Portland; The Inn at Abeja, Walla Walla, Washington; Oxford Hotel, Bend; Sentinel, Portland; and The Nines, in Portland.

These accolades add to Oregon’s growing reputation as a tourist hotspot with forests, campgrounds, beaches, picturesque small towns, and the world-famous Kerns area in Northeast Portland, regarded as one of the five coolest neighborhoods in the world.

Home to the Laurelhurst Theater, an art deco landmark built in 1923, Kerns is home to international restaurants, cocktail bars, and vintage clothing boutiques.

Other categories in the competition include cities, resorts, cruise lines, spas, airlines and airports, trains, luggage, and countries.
