Oregon Father Charged with Stabbing and Assaulting Daughter’s Boyfriend
A Springfield father allegedly stabbed and assaulted his daughter’s 27-year-old boyfriend last Saturday morning.
Police visited the boyfriend at the McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center and found that he had been stabbed, had two front teeth broken and partially missing, and had severe lacerations on his arm, face, and lip.
Officers from the Springfield Police Department arrested Bryan Whitecloud (49), who is in custody and charged with the unlawful use of a weapon and first and second-degree assault.
When the police arrived at his daughter’s home on Mill Street, Whitecloud tried to barricade himself inside the property. However, police were able to defuse the situation, and Whitecloud succumbed to a peaceful arrest.
