Oregon Man Caught Selling Drugs from Hotel Near Klamath Union High School
KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. — A 58-year-old man selling fentanyl and methamphetamine from a hotel room near a school was arrested last Wednesday and is in the Klamath Falls Jail while investigations continue.
Members of the Basin Inter-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team (BINET) received information that Thomas Walter Anderson was selling drugs from a hotel room near Klamath Union High School.
Surveillance of the suspect and the hotel room was conducted by BINET, the Klamath Falls Police Department (KFPD), and members of Klamath County Community Corrections.
KFPD said a patrol officer stopped Anderson when he left the hotel room, and BINET searched his room where they found individually packaged fentanyl weighing half an ounce, methamphetamine, $1000, and distribution of controlled substances.
Anderson is charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and the unlawful manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
