Oregon State Agencies Set to Debate Calico Resources’ Bold Plan to Mine Gold at Grassy Mountain
State Agencies will meet online on March 6 to discuss Calico Resources USA Corp’s proposed chemical process Grassy Mountain Gold. The public and media are invited to attend the meeting.
Calico Resources filed a Notice of intent at the end of February 2017 to develop the Grassy Mountain Gold Project in Malheur County, approximately 22 miles south-southwest of Vale.
The company intends to construct ‘an underground mine and surface mill complex to develop the Grassy Mountain gold resource.’
As part of the project’s next phase, the Technical Review Team (TRT) will meet online. The details of the TRT Grassy Mine meeting are:
