Oregon State Beavers Maintain Losing Streak Against San Jose Spartans – Game Highlights
The hopes of Oregon Beavers (4-5) to be eligible for the bowl dimmed on Saturday at the Reser stadium as the San Jose Spartans became eligible- they now stand at 6-3. Low scores on both sides reflected in the final score of 13-24 with a combined 937 yards, but only 37 points.
Oregon Beavers vs San Jose Spartans Game Highlights
The Beavers made a change at quarterback, but mixed results followed. San Jose Spartans rallied from a three-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win as the Beavers had their fourth consecutive loss. The highlights included:

- Running back Anthony Hankerson ran for 121 yards and a touchdown,
- Receiver Trent Walker caught 11 passes for 151 yards, the first time since Hawaii in 2021 that the Beavers had a running back and receiver pass 100 yards in a game.
- Spartans quarterback Walker Eget completed only 18 of 35 passes for 395 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.

- The Spartans then scored on a 36-yard touchdown reception by Nash, and again on a 32-yard field goal by Halvorsen. The Beavers drove 73 yards to tie the game when Hankerson shoved his way into the end zone from 10 yards out.
- Oregon State headed to halftime tied at 10-10 after a blocked field goal attempt, but Kyler Halvorsen’s 25-yard attempt was rejected by Isaiah Chisom.
- In the closing moments, Gulbranson drove the Beavers all the way to the Spartans 4-yard line, only to throw the game-clinching interception to the Spartans’ Michael Dansby.
