Oregon’s New Federal Oversight Website Tracks Trump Lawsuits and Social Security Issues
Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield today announced the launch of a new Federal Oversight page on the Oregon Department of Justice website on Monday.
The new webpage and Litigation Tracker include a form for Oregonians to report issues with Social Security payments and other federal issues. It is a federal oversight and accountability website.
Oregon Litigation Tracker: Federal Issues Reporting Tool
Launched by Oregon Attorney General (AG) Dan Rayfield, the website gives the public real-time access to information about Oregon’s legal efforts to block unlawful actions by the Trump administration that threaten Constitutional rights, including funding for health, education, and federal agencies.
The AG’s office is addressing several important issues, including recent litigation such as:
- The 16-state push to defend DEI and accessibility in schools
- Challenging Elon Musk’s DOGE and data brokers for misusing personal information
- Sueing Coinbase as millions face losses
The new website seeks to give people the latest updates in their litigation cases. We hope this helps Oregonians understand what the AG’s office is doing and where the state stands in these cases to protect our citizens and agencies.
The litigation tracker will be updated daily as new lawsuits and court rulings are filed. In addition to the tracker, the website also includes the following:
- A Social Security Issue Reporting Portal: Problems with Social Security payments can be submitted and will be used to identify patterns of disruption or negligence.
- A Federal Impact Reporting Portal for federal workers in Oregon who were fired, laid off, or otherwise personally impacted by federal actions: This information will be collected for future federal actions. The AG confirmed that personal identifying information will not be shared without consent.
- A Federal Oversight Directory: A list of key cabinet members appointed by the AG to advise on areas such as health, labor, education, and the environment.
Rayfield emphasized the importance of accountability during times of federal overreach and said, “We want to bring transparency to our work and show Oregonians that their state is working to defend the rule of law.”
