COOS COUNTY, Ore. — A North Bend woman, 27-year-old Lanie Denton, and a Coquille man, 41-year-old Joshua Felker, are facing serious charges after an incident in Coos Bay early Saturday morning.
Coos Bay Police Department (CBPD) investigators indicated that a gun was fired during an alleged attempted vehicle theft.
Responding to a report of people arguing in the 200 block of North Main Street shortly before 6 a.m., CBPD officers arrived to find a resident standing alone in his yard. The resident told officers that two suspects, Denton and Felker, had tried to steal his vehicle.
