Portland Police Arrest Suspected $900,000 Ferrari Thief

A Portland Police Public Safety Support Specialist (PS3) responded to a call reporting the theft of a Ferrari supercar from the Northwest District Neighborhood yesterday at 2:09 p.m.

After receiving details of the supercar’s location from the owner who was tracking it, officers participating in the Holiday Walking Beat found the vehicle. They identified the suspect, who was then arrested by Portland police.

 

Supercar Stolen In Portland Recovered: Suspect Arrested

The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) indicated that the Ferrari was stolen from the area of Northwest 10th Avenue and Northwest Lovejoy Street, and a case has been opened under case number 24-323327.

The light green 2023 Ferrari SF90 Spider Hybrid, valued at $900,000, was tracked. After the PS3 received information that it was at Northwest 16th Avenue and Northwest Kearney Street, nearby officers were radioed. Officers participating in the Holiday Walking Beat found the vehicle at that location.

Information obtained on the scene led police to two possible suspects who had walked away from the parked vehicle. The officers caught up with them at Northwest 15th Avenue and Northwest Lovejoy Street, and one of the men was determined to be the person who had taken the car.

Kevin John Miller, 36, was arrested and later booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Possession of a stolen vehicle, and a warrant. The Ferrari was returned to its owner undamaged.
