- Draymond Green’s jawing at the refs late in the first half after being called for a foul earned him his first technical this season before Kerr led Green off the court with an arm around his shoulder.
- Buddy Hield, who missed out on the playoffs last year, had 22 points off the bench for the Warriors.

Warriors More Organized With Terry Stotts
Head coach of the Blazers from 2012 to 2021, Terry Stotts, now assists coach Steve Kerr with the Warriors and the Blazers played a tribute to him on the video scoreboard.
Kerr said Stotts made a big difference. He said, ‘We’re definitely more organized this year than we’ve been in the past.”
The Trail Blazers’ three-game homestand continues on Friday against the Pelicans as the Golden State visits the Jazz on the same night.
