Up To $200K Trust Funds Available For Ashland Affordable Housing Projects
ASHLAND, Ore. — The city of Ashland’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund is offering up to $200,000 in funding for projects that aim to create affordable housing in the city.
Ashland Funding For Affordable Housing
Ashland’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) encourages housing development for low- and moderate-income families, specifically for people whose median income does not exceed 120% of the area’s median income.
The AHTF Request for Proposals 2025 (PDF) indicates that the following types of projects can be pitched:
- Transitional and emergency Housing for homeless individuals and families
- Buying and building new affordable housing
- Predevelopment activities
- Rehabilitation and emergency repairs
- Conservation
- Hazardous materials abatement
- Land banking
- Bridge loans
- Funding non-profit affordable housing providers for administering an affordable housing project or program (Capacity Building Direct grant)
Other direct benefits to low-moderate income households include emergency housing vouchers, rental assistance, down payment assistance, mortgage foreclosure prevention, homeownership training, and renter education, as well as other programs intended to increase housing opportunities for Ashland’s low-moderate income residents.
